In this paper, a quad-port multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) semitransparent antenna is designed for automotive applications. The transparent soda lime glass substrate used in the prototype windshield applications, and radiator nontransparent copper metal. unit cell of MIMO similar to “NISSAN automobile-like” logo. proposed has −10 dB impedance bandwidth 3.4 11 GHz. edge-to-edge distance between elements configuration 6 mm. are perpendicularly oriented offer dual (horizontal vertical) polarization, which aids providing better isolation good signal reception all directions. resonating greater than 15 without use any decoupling structure. diversity metrics examined order gain understanding performance. envelope correlation coefficient (ECC) less 0.01, (DG) 9.98 dB, total active reflection (TARC) channel capacity loss (CCL) 0.07 bits/s/Hz, respectively. offers transparency 52.26% over entire area. could be suitable applications such as intelligent transportation systems (ITS), vehicular communications, automatic vehicle identifier (AVI).
